- 2 cups fine bulgur (fine cracked wheat)
- 5 tomatoes

- Ingredients and method for preparing the kamouneh:
- In an electric blender, place the kamouneh mix: dried mint, cumin, dried rose petals, marjoram, nutmeg, a cinnamon stick, and hot red pepper... Grind them in the blender with 1 small dried onion, 1 red pepper, a little semolina or fine bulg
- How to prepare the kamouneh:
- Peel the red tomatoes and chop them finely. Place the chopped tomatoes over the fine bulgur and add the kamouneh.
- Note:
- The kamouneh seasoning blend is the same one used for meat kibbeh and potato kibbeh.
Method
- Mix all the ingredients well and add salt to taste. Drizzle olive oil over the kamouneh and serve immediately.
