Easy Homemade Beef Burger Patties

- 1 kilo finely ground beef
- 1 large onion, very finely grated
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- A pinch of cumin
- A pinch of black pepper
- A pinch of meat seasoning
- A pinch of wild thyme / oregano
- 1 tablespoon ketchup, to add a touch of sweetness to the burger
- Salt to taste
- 3 tablespoons ground breadcrumbs
Method
- Place the meat in a wide bowl
- Grate the onion very finely and add it to the meat, then add the garlic and all the other ingredients. Mix well until everything is fully combined.
- Shape the burgers into round patties in the size and thickness you want
- Place a plastic kitchen bag or kitchen wrap, place the burger meat patties on it, and cover them with another plastic bag
- Place a plastic bag or kitchen wrap between each patty as well so it will be easier to use them later.
- Leave them in the fridge for one hour, then you can fry or grill them, or put them in the freezer for later use.
- Serve the fried or oven-grilled burger patties with hamburger buns and add cheese, onion slices, tomato, ketchup, and French fries
