Ingredients

- Chicken marinade
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp chili powder (or coarse hot pepper)
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 chicken breasts, cut into cubes
- 3 tbsp butter
- Marinating
- Sauce
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp cashews
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 2 cups cooking cream

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- In a frying pan, melt the butter, then add the pieces of chicken that we marinated for two hours and stir-fry over high heat until cooked through
- Transfer them to a plate and set aside
- In the same pan, add a little butter and sauté the onion briefly, then add the garlic and ginger and cook together, then add the remaining spices and cook until fragrant
- Add the cashews and stir, then add the tomatoes and tomato paste and cook together until the tomatoes soften
- Set the mixture aside to cool slightly, then blend until smooth, and strain it
- Return the sauce to the pan and simmer until it thickens slightly, then add the chicken pieces, cooking cream and salt and stir
- Let the butter chicken simmer for about two minutes, then serve
