1 cup yellow lentils
1 onion
Cooking oil
Butter
Salt
A pinch of ground cumin
Kibbeh patties (prepared or frozen)

Method
- Boil the lentils until tender.
- Chop the onion finely then fry it in oil with a little butter until it lightly browns.
- Add it to the cooked lentils and stir. The lentils should have a soup-like, loose consistency.
- Bake the kibbeh patties in the oven.
- Add the kibbeh to the soup, sprinkle the cumin, and adjust the salt.
- Let them simmer for about 15 minutes.
