Fried shrimp panko battered shrimp made with an easy and distinctive homemade recipe

Ingredients

  • Shrimp
  • Salt
  • A pinch of dried oregano
  • A pinch of paprika
  • For coating:
  • A pinch of turmeric, 1 cup flour + a pinch of paprika + 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 egg beaten with 1 teaspoon vinegar + a pinch of white pepper
  • Breadcrumbs

Method

  1. Clean the shrimp well... slit the back, remove the black vein, and leave the tail on... then rinse with water and drain well
  2. Season the shrimp with salt, oregano, paprika, and turmeric... then start the coating process
  3. In a bowl, mix the flour with a pinch of paprika and the baking powder... and in another bowl, the beaten eggs with vinegar and white pepper... and the breadcrumbs in a third bowl
  4. Dip the shrimp in the flour mixture, then the beaten eggs, and finally the breadcrumbs
  5. Leave them in the refrigerator for 15 minutes so they firm up
