Ingredients
- 1/2 kilo finely ground beef
- Fried chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 egg
- Salt
- Seven spices
- Cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons breadcrumbs (ground rusk)
Method
- \r\n
- Mix all ingredients well and add the egg last, as it helps bind the meat and prevents crumbling during grilling.
- You can use store-bought burger seasoning if available, or craft our own blend from different spices, or simply rely on salt, cinnamon, and seven-spice.
- Shape the meat into patties of your desired thickness and size. Place the patties on a sheet of plastic wrap laid over a flat tray. Then cover with another sheet of plastic wrap and cut between the patties so two layers of wrap cover them. Freeze the burgers for at least one hour before grilling in the oven... or freeze until needed.
