Green beans in olive oil in a delicious homemade style .. try it

Ingredients

  • Half a kilo of green beans
  • 3 onions, finely chopped
  • 10 whole garlic cloves
  • 6 tomatoes, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • A pinch of hot pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Method

  1. Trim the ends of the green beans and cut them into medium-sized pieces.
  2. In a pot over medium heat, add a little oil and stir the onions until they soften.
  3. Add the chopped green beans and stir for a minute or until they change color.
  4. Add the garlic cloves and stir until the green beans are cooked through (test by inserting a fork).
  5. Stir the beans from time to time so they do not stick together.
  6. Add the chopped tomatoes, salt, and hot pepper, and stir for 10 minutes over low heat.

  7. Serve the green beans in olive oil cold.
