Fajitas — a tasty homemade and tried-and-true recipe
Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken breasts, cut into long strips
- onion, cut into wedges
- green bell pepper
- corn (cooked or canned)
- salt
- white pepper
- fajita seasoning
- paprika or sweet red pepper powder
- grated mozzarella cheese

Method
- Fry the chicken slices in a skillet with a little oil until cooked through.
- Drain the chicken of any liquids that may have been released during frying.
- Add the spices and stir.
- Set the chicken aside, then fry the onion in a little oil until softened.
- Add the green pepper sliced into strips and the corn, and sauté briefly.
- Sprinkle salt and more spices and stir.
- When the pepper softens, add the chicken and stir for one minute, then remove the fajita mixture from the heat.
- Spoon the fajita filling into flatbread with avocado sauce or guacamole, sprinkle cheese over them, then toast the sandwiches using a sandwich press or an electric toaster.
- You can also add cheese to the chicken and vegetables in the pan and mix them, then assemble and toast the sandwiches.
