Ingredients
- 1/2 kg fine minced meat
- Meat seasoning
- Mixed spices
- Ground cinnamon
- Black pepper
- Salt
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and cut into medium cubes
- Onion, finely chopped
- Tomato paste
- Sweet red pepper powder or paprika
- Cinnamon sticks
- Cardamom pods

Method
- Mix the ground meat thoroughly with the spices
- Shape the meat into small meatballs
- Fry them in a little corn oil in a skillet over medium heat until browned on all sides, then set aside
- Fry the onion in a little corn oil; when it softens, add the cubed potatoes and sauté until they color
- Add the meatballs we set aside, tomato paste, paprika, cinnamon sticks and cardamom, and stir briefly
- Cover them with water and simmer over low heat for about one hour until they are cooked and the sauce thickens
- Serve Dawood Basha alongside rice cooked with vermicelli or plain white rice as desired
