Dawood Basha — tasty and quick to prepare...

Ingredients:

1/2 kg fine minced meat Meat seasoning Mixed spices Ground cinnamon Black pepper Salt 2 large potatoes, peeled and cut into medium cubes Onion, finely chopped Tomato paste Sweet red pepper powder or paprika Cinnamon sticks Cardamom pods

Method:

Mix the minced meat well with the spices.
Shape the meat into small meatballs.
Fry them in a little corn oil in a pan over medium heat until browned on all sides, then set aside.
In the same pan, fry the onion in a little corn oil; when it softens, add the potato cubes and sauté until they take on color.
Add the reserved meatballs, tomato paste, paprika, cinnamon sticks and cardamom, and stir briefly.
Cover with water and simmer over low heat for about one hour until everything is cooked and the sauce thickens.
Serve Dawood Basha alongside rice cooked with vermicelli or plain white rice, as desired.
