Beef Tenderloin with Cream

A very tasty and easy recipe to prepare beef tenderloin steak with fresh cream. Serve the steak with rice, pasta, mashed potatoes, or roasted potatoes and vegetables as you prefer.

Ingredients

Start here, then move straight into the method.

  • 1 kilo beef tenderloin steak
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 cup fresh or canned mushrooms
  • 1 container of fresh cooking cream

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Season the steak pieces with salt and pepper. Sauté them in a wide skillet with butter. When cooked, remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, sauté minced garlic in a little butter, add the mustard and the chopped mushrooms and cook for a few minutes.
  3. Add the fresh cream and let the mixture boil for a while. Return the seared meat to the pan and simmer together on low heat for about 5 minutes.

  4. Serve the beef tenderloin with cream alongside pasta or mashed potatoes and vegetables as desired.
