Ingredients

- 1 kg green fava beans
- A bunch of fresh cilantro
- 1 onion (dry)
- 1 small head of garlic
- Salt, to taste
- Vegetable oil
- Lemon juice
- Half a cup of warm water

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Cut the fava beans into small or medium pieces and boil them with a pinch of salt to preserve the green color.
- Chop the onion and garlic finely and sauté them in a little vegetable oil until softened.
- Add the chopped cilantro to them and stir briefly.
- Add the drained cooked fava beans, stir, and then add water immediately.
- Let the fava with cilantro and garlic simmer over medium heat until cooked.
- Before turning off the heat, add lemon juice, stir, then remove from the heat.
- Serve this delicious vegetarian dish cold at room temperature or chilled from the refrigerator.
