Green Beans in Olive Oil, a tasty and healthy vegetarian dish
Ingredients
- 2 cups green beans
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, sliced
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Olive oil
- 6 tomatoes, chopped
Method
- Clean the green beans well, remove the strings from the top and bottom, and cut each bean into two or more pieces depending on the desired size.
- Heat the olive oil and sauté the garlic and onion until they soften well.
- Add the green beans, salt, and black pepper and stir until the beans are nearly cooked.
- Add the tomatoes (peeled and chopped) and stir them with the beans and onion; leave until the beans are fully cooked.
- Serve the green beans in oil cold.
