Ingredients

  • Chicken breast, cut into thick slices
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Oil
  • Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Wash the chicken well, pat dry, then season with salt and spices.
  2. Put a little vegetable oil in a pan and cook the chicken over low heat so it doesn’t dry out.
  3. When the chicken is cooked, add lemon juice to taste, then add 1 tablespoon of flour dissolved in 1 tablespoon of water to the sauce so it thickens slightly.
  4. Let it simmer briefly, then remove the pan from the heat.
  5. Garnish the lemon chicken breast with parsley and serve with plain white rice.
  6. Fry 1 cup of well-washed and well-drained rice: sauté it in a little oil or ghee until it absorbs the fat.
  7. Sprinkle a little salt and black pepper and stir, then add 1 1/2 cups hot water.
  8. When the water boils and reaches the level of the rice, cover the pot and leave it on low heat for 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked.
