Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken breasts or a whole chicken, cleaned and cut
- 1 kg potatoes, peeled and sliced into rounds
- 1 tbsp sweet pepper paste (or concentrated red pepper paste)
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 3 tbsp vinegar
- ½ cup olive oil
- Salt, to taste

Method
- Make small incisions with a knife on all sides of the chicken pieces to allow the marinade to penetrate.
- Add the washed, drained potatoes sliced into rounds and put them with the chicken.
- In a bowl, mix all the marinade ingredients and add to the chicken and potatoes, tossing well so every piece is coated.
- Leave them in the refrigerator for about one hour.
- Place them on a tray and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 40 minutes, or according to your oven.Timers: 40 min
- Do not cover the chicken and potatoes so they roast properly and the top dries out.
- Brown the top of the chicken and potatoes and serve immediately with bread, rice or plain.
