Date-filled Ghraibah Fingers
A new and very nice way to present date-filled Ghraibah fingers. Try this easy and clear method but don’t leave them in the oven too long so they stay soft.

- 2 1/2 cups ghee or butter
- 8 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- Vanilla
- Date filling and orange blossom water
- Pistachios for garnish
Method
- Cream the sugar and ghee well until you get a pale, white mixture. Add the flour and vanilla and continue kneading until you have a soft, homogeneous dough.
- Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.Timers: 15 min
- Remove the dough from the fridge and shape it into rounds, then flatten and fill them with dates. Top with pistachios as shown in the accompanying photos.
- Place the date-filled ghraibah fingers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 120°C for a maximum of 10 minutes.Timers: 10 min
