Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. In a frying pan over the heat, add a little vegetable oil and sauté the onion until softened, then add the carrot, mushrooms, and corn and stir until the mixture softens slightly.
  2. Add the minced meat and stir until cooked, then add salt, tomato sauce, spices, and any additional sauce and stir briefly.
  3. Then add the water and let it boil and thicken.
  4. Divide the dough into two portions and roll it out using cake flour instead of regular flour.
  5. Place the first layer in the baking pan and put the filling on it after it has cooled, then sprinkle the grated cheese according to the type available.
  6. Roll out the second layer of dough and place it on top of the filling.
  7. Brush the surface of the dough with beaten egg yolk with a drop of vinegar.
  8. Sprinkle sesame seeds and nigella (black seed) over the top of the minced meat and vegetable pie.
  9. Place the pan in the oven at 200°C until the dough is cooked, then brown the top.
  10. Let the dough rise.
