Zanakel bi-laban, also called zaqaliit bi-laban in some Lebanese regions, varies in name from one area to another, but the preparation is similar: small bulgur balls cooked in yogurt.

- 1/2 cup flour

Method
- Wash the bulgur and soak it in a little water until it swells, then add flour, marjoram or basil, and salt; rub them well by hand, then add a little water and mix well until a cohesive dough forms....
- Divide the mixture and take small pieces, shaping them in the palm of your hand into small ball-like dumplings...
- Place the yogurt on the heat and drop the zanakel or small dumplings into the yogurt, stirring continuously..
- Fry the crushed garlic and add it over the yogurt ...
- Spoon the dumplings with the yogurt into serving bowls and garnish with dried mint....
- Yogurt preparation:
- 1 kilogram yogurt, whisk it in the blender with 2 tablespoons cornstarch dissolved in a little water ... Place the yogurt mixture on the heat, stirring continuously, then add a little water as needed
