  • 1 cup washed brown bulgur
  • 1 boiled potato
  • 1 large onion

  • Seven-spice mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon burger spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • Salt
  • 2 tablespoons flour

Method

  1. Prepare the vegetarian kofta the same way you would fried kibbeh. Grind the chickpeas until finely ground.
  2. Add all the ingredients except the flour to the chickpeas and mix well in an electric blender.
  3. Blend the ingredients until you get a homogeneous mixture. Use the tomato paste only to give the recipe color. Shape the mixture into patties, coat them in flour on both sides, and fry them in hot vegetable oil.
