Swiss chard with beans .. one of the dishes from our Lebanese cuisine full of beneficial vegetarian recipes .. some are more famous than others! Anyone who doesn't know Swiss chard with beans will get to know it now

Ingredients

  • 1 kilo Swiss chard
  • 1/2 cup red beans
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 small head of garlic
  • Olive oil

Method

  1. Wash the Swiss chard leaves, drain them, then chop them...
  2. In a pot over the heat, boil a large amount of water, then add the leaves to the boiling water and cook until tender
  3. Earlier... soak the beans overnight, boil them the next day, and drain them
  4. When the Swiss chard is cooked, drain it and squeeze it well to remove the water
  5. In a skillet, saute the sliced onions with the chopped garlic as well.. fry them in oil until they turn golden
  6. Add the Swiss chard and the cooked beans to the skillet and stir for about 5 minutes
    Timers: 5 min
  7. Serve Swiss chard with beans alongside vegetables such as radish and onion .. and eat it with Arabic bread and a squeeze of lemon
