Spinach Stew
Spinach stew — a light, very tasty and nutritious stew. The main challenge is washing the spinach well; the rest is easy. Spinach cooks quickly. Serve with vermicelli rice.
Spinach stew — a light, very tasty and very nutritious stew.
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 1 kg spinach, washed, drained and finely chopped
- 250 g coarsely ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 liter (4 cups) meat or vegetable stock
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bunch coriander (cilantro), finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried coriander (optional)
- Salt
- A small coffee cup of lemon juice
- Pine nuts, as desired
- Olive oil + vegetable oil
- Pinch of sweet spice
- Pinch of black pepper
- Rice
- 500 g rice, soaked
- 1 liter (4 cups) water
- 1/2 cup vermicelli
- Oil
- Rice
- In a pot, heat the oil and add the vermicelli.

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Sauté the chopped onion in olive oil and vegetable oil until softened
- Add the garlic and cilantro and stir
- Sprinkle the spices, add the meat, and stir until it dries
- Add the broth, stir, and let the broth boil for 10 minutesTimers: 10 min
- After that, add the spinach and leave it on the heat until it cooks
- Finally.. add the lemon juice, stir, and remove the spinach stew from the heat
- Garnish the spinach stew with fried pine nuts.. or add them to the pot with the stew
- Serve the spinach stew with vermicelli rice
- When serving.. you can add lemon juice to taste
- In a pot, put the oil and the vermicelli
- Stir continuously and wait until the vermicelli turns a darker color
- Add the washed and drained rice and stir
- Add the salt, then add the boiling water
- When the water reaches the level of the rice.. reduce the heat, cover the pot, and leave the rice for about 20 minutes until it is cookedTimers: 20 min
