Ingredients
- Puff pastry (ready-made)
- Crème pâtissière:
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
- Put the milk with one tablespoon of sugar in a pot over the heat, stirring.
- In a second bowl put the eggs, the starch, and one tablespoon of sugar and whisk; then add one teaspoon of vanilla and whisk.
- When the milk is hot, pour the egg mixture over it while continuing to stir until the crème pâtissière thickens and reaches the desired consistency.
- Let the cream cool completely before using; it can be chilled in the refrigerator.
- Place the puff pastry in small molds and put them in the oven until they puff up.
- Remove them and let them cool, then fill them with the chilled crème pâtissière.
- Serve the puff pastry with crème pâtissière after decorating as desired with fruit such as strawberries and a dusting of powdered sugar.
