Pistachio Pasha sweets are very easy and delicious — give them a try!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain, unfilled biscuits
  • 1 cup Aleppo pistachios (shelled pistachios)
  • 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1 medium spoon rose water
  • 1 medium spoon orange blossom water
  • 1/4 teaspoon green food coloring - optional
  • Cut the Pistachio Pasha dough into small balls
  • Brush the maamoul mold with a little oil and place a dough ball in the mold to take the desired shape
  • Turn the Pistachio Pasha dough ball out, place the pieces on a serving plate, and sprinkle a little powdered sugar on them

Method

  1. Grind the biscuits into a fine powder.
  2. Grind the pistachios as well until you have a fine mixture.
  3. Mix all ingredients together, then knead well until a cohesive dough forms.
  4. Shape the Pistachio Pasha dough into small balls.
  5. Lightly oil an maamoul mold and press each dough ball into the mold to form the desired shape.
  6. Remove the shaped sweets, arrange them on a serving plate and dust lightly with powdered sugar.
