  • 1 kg okra
  • 1 dry onion
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 green hot pepper
  • 3 sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt and spices as desired

Method

  1. Cut the onion into large slices and slice the garlic as well, then fry them in vegetable oil.
  2. Chop the green hot chili pepper.
  3. Add the sun-dried tomatoes and fry them together for a while, then add one cup of water.
  4. Fry the okra separately in hot deep oil.
  5. When the vegetables (onion and tomato) come to a boil, add the fried okra and leave it for about ten minutes before removing from the heat.
  6. Note: Sun-dried tomatoes can be replaced with fresh tomatoes if dried ones are unavailable. Also be careful not to over-salt this recipe because sun-dried tomatoes contain a lot of salt.
