Milk Samoon Bread

Ingredients

Start here, then move straight into the method.

  • 1 1/2 cups warm liquid milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 1/4 cups flour, or as needed depending on the flour
  • Glazing mixture
  • Egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon liquid milk
  • A pinch of Nescafe

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Put the milk and mix it with the sugar and yeast
  2. Then add the egg white, oil, vinegar and salt and mix, then begin adding the flour gradually and knead until we have a smooth-textured dough
  3. Brush it with oil and let it rise for 40 minutes
    Timers: 40 min
  4. After that divide it into 15 pieces and begin rolling each piece lengthwise into a rectangle using a little flour, then roll each rectangle like a roulade and seal the ends, repeating until all the dough is used
  5. Place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and cover them until they rise and double in size
  6. Mix the glaze and brush it over each piece
  7. Bake them in a preheated oven at 200°C with top and bottom heat for 12 to 15 minutes depending on the oven
