  • 1 dry onion
  • lamb meat cut into medium-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 3 cups plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Method

  1. Cut the onion into large pieces so that each onion is divided into 4 pieces.
  2. Fry the onion with the meat pieces after adding the ghee. Sauté the meat and onion and add salt and black pepper or baharat.
  3. After frying the meat, cover it with water and put it over low heat until it boils for about half an hour.
  4. In another pot, put the yogurt with the cornstarch and stir it over low heat until it boils.
  5. When the yogurt boils, add the meat and onions to it and possibly add more salt and black pepper to taste...
  6. Let the ingredients simmer over low heat for a while until they are well cooked..
  7. Serve Laban Amo or Shakeriya alongside rice with vermicelli
