Kibbeh with yogurt in a very delicious recipe! If you have frozen kibbeh, you’ll find this is the easiest recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 kilo yogurt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Prepared kibbeh patties... here is how to make them from Rana fried kibbeh
  • crushed garlic
  • fresh coriander
  • salt
  • fried nuts in ghee or butter - optional
  • Here from Rana as well zucchini with yogurt

Method

  1. Strain the yogurt and put it in a pot with the water and starch, stirring well while cold.
  2. Place the pot over the heat and stir constantly so the yogurt doesn't curdle... cook over medium heat.
  3. Fry the kibbeh until half‑cooked.
  4. When the yogurt boils, add the kibbeh patties after draining them well from the oil.
  5. Let the yogurt boil again over low heat until the kibbeh is fully cooked.
  6. Sauté the garlic and coriander briefly and add them to the yogurt, adjust the salt, and let them simmer for two minutes.
  7. Add the fried nuts and a sprinkle of fresh coriander, then turn off the heat.
