  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 1 tablespoon saffron

  • 1 clove
  • Water
  • Fried chicken
  • Nuts for garnish

Method

  1. Wash the rice and leave it soaking in warm water for about 15 minutes.
    Timers: 15 min
  2. Steep the saffron and a clove in a cup of warm water with rose water and set the mixture aside.
  3. In a pot suitable for rice, put 2 cups of water; when the water boils, add the soaked rice along with the clove, salt, saffron, and rose water.
  4. Let the rice simmer over low heat until it is fully cooked. Transfer it to a serving dish and place the fried chicken pieces and nuts on top as desired.
  5. You can replace the saffron with the yellow spice turmeric to get the rice's yellow color, but the flavor will be different.
