Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Method

  1. Mix all the ingredients together and knead well.
  2. You can add more liquid milk if the dough feels stiff.
  3. Divide the dough into a large and a small portion. Roll out about two-thirds of the dough into the tart pan.
  4. Spread in it the jam flavor you like or have available; in this recipe strawberry jam was used.
  5. Place the remaining one-third of the dough over the jam filling and shape the pie top as desired.
  6. Bake the pie in a preheated oven at 180°C (top and bottom heat) until golden, for about 15 minutes.
