Green okra with meat, prepared in a healthy way and with an easy, tried-and-tested recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 kilo green okra
  • 2 dry onions
  • 1 head of garlic, about 7 cloves
  • 1 bunch fresh coriander
  • Sweet spice
  • 500 g or half a kilo meat pieces
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste (just one tablespoon, no more, so it does not turn too acidic)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt
  • rana sbeite bazze

Method

  1. First, wash the okra very well and leave it in a colander until it dries well.
  2. Sauté the crushed garlic, and fry it in oil with onions.
  3. Add the meat pieces and fry them until cooked, then add the fresh coriander, sweet spice, a pinch of cinnamon, and a pinch of salt...
  4. Add the washed okra and stir the ingredients for 10 minutes, then add the chopped tomatoes with a spoon of tomato sauce or tomato paste.

  5. Finally, add the cup of beef broth and leave the ingredients to boil well until cooked through.
  6. Serve the green okra with meat alongside fluffy rice.
