Ingredients

  • 1 kilo flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups lukewarm water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Spinach Pies:
  • Wash the spinach well, chop it, and drain it. Then add a little salt and rub it until it wilts. Squeeze the spinach well, then add lemon juice, sumac, salt, and oil to taste.

Method

  1. Mix the dry ingredients, then gradually add the wet ingredients and knead until you get a firm, soft dough. Leave the dough in a warm place for 1 hour to rest and rise.
    Timers: 60 min
  2. Use this dough for different kinds of pies and samosas.
  3. Roll out the dough and cut it into medium-sized circles. Fill them with the spinach and fold them, then place the spinach pies on an oiled baking tray and bake in the oven until cooked through and browned on the top as well.
