Ingredients
- 1 kg fine bulgur
- About 2 1/2 cups flour
- Dried mint
- Cumin seeds
- Ground cumin
- Salt
- Filling:
- Ground beef
- Onion
- Tomato
- Cumin
- Butter

Method
- Start preparing the minced meat for the filling by sautéing it over the heat until cooked, then add the salt and butter and sauté for about five minutes
- Let it cool aside
- Chop the onion and tomato into small pieces or cubes and add them to the meat after it cools, then add mint, cumin, and salt to taste, mix, and set the filling aside
- Prepare the kibbeh dough... soak the bulgur for about one third of an hour (approximately 20 minutes) then drain it and add the flour, seasonings, and salt and mix
- Add a little or a splash of water as needed and continue kneading until you obtain a soft dough
- Form it into balls, make a hollow in each, fill them, and shape them by hand into somewhat thin discs
- Heat the grill well and brush the discs with oil, then grill them on both sides until cooked through
- Serve Kibbeh Hila with salad or soup
