Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 100 g butter, at room temperature (1/2 cup)
- 100 g honey (1/3 cup)
- 100 g granulated sugar (1/2 cup)
- 1 egg yolk
- 300 g flour (2 cups)
- 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Put the butter, honey, and sugar in a bowl and mix well with a wooden spoon until the mixture becomes creamy
- Then add the egg yolk and mix it in with the spoon
- In another bowl, sift the flour, cocoa, ginger, cinnamon, and salt together and stir them, then add them to the butter mixture and mix by hand until combined. Put the mixture in a tightly sealed plastic bag and refrigerate for about an hour
- Sprinkle a little flour on a clean surface... then roll out the dough on the surface and cut it using cookie cutters
- Arrange the cookies on a baking tray...
- Bake the ginger cookies in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15 minutesTimers: 15 min
- Do not overbake the cookies so they do not become hard after cooling. Serve them at room temperature
