Easy Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 3/4 cup cocoa powder
• 3/4 cup yogurt
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 tablespoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 cup water, or substitute with 1 cup orange juice
• Pinch of salt
• 3 eggs
• A dash of vanilla
• 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Method

1. Sift the dry ingredients and set aside.
2. Beat the eggs with vanilla until well combined, then add the sugar and oil while continuing to beat.
3. Gradually add the dry ingredients, mixing as you go.
4. Add the yogurt and water (or juice) and beat for about two minutes.
5. Pour the batter into a greased pan, dust with cocoa, and bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for about 50 minutes.

6. When the cake is baked and risen, avoid opening the oven door during baking; let it cool completely and decorate as desired.
