Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup roasted almonds
  • 1 large cup sugar
  • 5 tablespoons water

Method

  1. After roasting the almonds and hazelnuts, place them in a kitchen towel and rub them to remove the skins..
  2. Put the water and sugar in a pan and leave over the heat until the sugar turns a dark golden color and you get caramel...
  3. Add the almonds and sugar over the caramel and mix everything together..
  4. Pour the praline onto parchment paper and let it cool completely until hard.
  5. Grind the hard mixture in an electric blender... at first you will get a powder-like mixture...
  6. Continue grinding until you get a mixture similar to liquid caramel.
  7. Pour the liquid caramel into small round or dome-shaped molds and place the molds in the freezer.
  8. We start preparing the second part of the recipe..
  9. Put 700 g sugar with 150 g water in a pan and stir the sugar until it turns brown ..
  10. Add 200 ml liquid whipping cream, a piece of butter, and 1/2 teaspoon salt, and stir the ingredients ..
  11. When the mixture cools down, pour it over the frozen praline molds..
  12. Put the whipped cream into molds larger than the ones used for the caramel
  13. Place the frozen caramel pieces into the cream molds and leave them in the freezer to freeze..
  14. Meanwhile, prepare any kind of plain dry cake and cut it into circles..
  15. Place the cake circles as a base and put the frozen cream molds on top of them
  16. On the side, melt chocolate for desserts and leave it aside to cool..
  17. Pour the melted, cooled chocolate over each mini dome and decorate with pistachios and caramel
