Chocolate Dome, or Mini Dome Cake, is exactly what its name suggests: a dome-shaped dessert coated in chocolate! In this gorgeous recipe, the look really does say it all.

Ingredients:

Praline cream:

1 cup roasted hazelnuts 1/2 cup roasted almonds 1 large cup sugar 5 tablespoons water

How to prepare the praline cream:

After roasting the almonds and hazelnuts, place them in a kitchen towel and rub them to remove the skins..

Put the water and sugar in a pan and leave over the heat until the sugar turns a dark golden color and you get caramel...

Add the almonds and sugar over the caramel and mix everything together..

Pour the praline onto parchment paper and let it cool completely until hard.

Grind the hard mixture in an electric blender... at first you will get a powder-like mixture...

Continue grinding until you get a mixture similar to liquid caramel.

Pour the liquid caramel into small round or dome-shaped molds and place the molds in the freezer.

We start preparing the second part of the recipe..

To prepare the caramel:

Put 700 g sugar with 150 g water in a pan and stir the sugar until it turns brown ..

Add 200 ml liquid whipping cream, a piece of butter, and 1/2 teaspoon salt, and stir the ingredients ..

When the mixture cools down, pour it over the frozen praline molds..

For the white cream:

Whip a quantity of whipping cream with a proportional quantity of buttercream

Put the whipped cream into molds larger than the ones used for the caramel

Place the frozen caramel pieces into the cream molds and leave them in the freezer to freeze..

Meanwhile, prepare any kind of plain dry cake and cut it into circles..

Place the cake circles as a base and put the frozen cream molds on top of them

On the side, melt chocolate for desserts and leave it aside to cool..

Pour the melted, cooled chocolate over each mini dome and decorate with pistachios and caramel
