Ingredients
- Chicken
- 2 onions, thinly sliced
- A little vegetable oil
- Generous amount of sumac
- A pinch of cinnamon
- A pinch of black pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Saj bread or markook bread

Method
- Boil the chicken with seasonings until it is well cooked.
- Remove the bones from the chicken and shred the meat into fine strands
- Fry the onion slices in a little vegetable oil... when they soften add the chicken and a pinch of cinnamon, black pepper, olive oil, and sumac
- Sauté them for five minutes and remove from the heat
- Cut the saj bread into triangles by slicing the loaf lengthwise and widthwise in half to get four triangular pieces
- Divide the chicken filling after it cools into the triangles and roll them up into spirals or rolls
- Place them in an oiled Pyrex dish and brush the top of the musakhan with olive oil as well
- Put them in the oven until the chicken musakhan browns on the bottom, then brown them on top while monitoring
