Cheese sambousek — one of the tastiest appetizers loved by everyone

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Water as needed
  • Cheese filling:
  • Akkawi cheese + shredded cheese (or cheeses of your choice)
  • Finely chopped parsley

Method

  1. Mix all the dough ingredients and knead to form the sambousek dough.
  2. Let the dough rest for half an hour.
  3. Meanwhile prepare the filling: mix the cheeses after washing and draining them well, then add the chopped parsley.
  4. Roll the dough into small balls, flatten each into a small circle, fill and fold into a half-moon shape.
  5. Deep-fry the cheese sambousek in plenty of hot oil and serve.
