Mashed Potatoes
Mashed potatoes with minced meat in a proper homemade recipe! Despite how simple it is, this dish is very tasty, filling, and best of all, very easy to make.
Mashed potatoes ... one of those old, easy recipes that often saves us after a long workday when we don't have the energy to cook ... give it a try
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- Potatoes
- Minced meat
- Vegetable oil
- Finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup water
- Salt
- White pepper
- Black pepper
- A pinch of chili powder
- A pinch of cumin
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Peel the potatoes, wash them well, then finely chop them very finely
- Place the chopped potatoes in a pot over heat with a little vegetable oil and stir a bit until softened
- In a pan, stir the minced meat until its color changes and its water dries out, then add it over the potatoes and stir
- Add the water, cover the pot, and leave it over low heat until the potatoes are half cooked
- At this stage, add the salt and spices, stir, and leave the mashed potatoes over low heat until fully cooked
- Serve with vegetables or salad
