Za'atar, Cheese, and Olive Rolls

Dough rolls filled with za'atar, cheese and olives, or any filling you like. This is a very tasty and practical recipe that kids will definitely love. Try it and let us know what you think in the comments.

Ingredients

Start here, then move straight into the method.

  • 2 tablespoons instant yeast
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 cups flour
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • Filling as desired: za'atar, cheese and olives, or chocolate

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Place the instant yeast with 1 tablespoon of the sugar and mix it with the cup of warm water.
  2. When the mixture has fermented, add the vinegar, the remaining 2 tablespoons of sugar, the flour, and the salt. Mix well until you get a smooth dough, then let it rest for about 15 minutes.

  3. After the required time has passed, roll out the dough and cut it lengthwise. Fill the dough with any filling you like: za'atar, cheese and olives, chocolate...
  4. Brush the long strip of dough and roll it up like a sandwich, then shape it into circles like cinnamon rolls.... Place the filled dough rolls in a glass baking dish suitable for the oven after greasing it with a little butter...
  5. Brush a little butter on top of the rolls as well... You can also brush the filled dough rolls with a mixture of eggs and milk with 1 teaspoon of Nescafe...
  6. Place the tray of filled dough in a preheated oven at 200 degrees and bake for 15 minutes, first from the bottom then brown from the top...
