Yogurt Cake with Chocolate and Strawberries - Video

Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- a pinch of baking soda
- 2 cups yogurt
- a pinch of salt
- Filling:
- 1 container fresh whipping cream
- Chocolate, amount and type as desired
- Frozen or fresh strawberries
- Replace the removed top on the cake as a lid. You can pour chocolate sauce and nuts over the cake to decorate it, or fully decorate it with chocolate cream as desired.
Method
- Whisk the eggs with the vanilla well, then add the sugar and continue whisking.
- Add the flour gradually with the baking powder and baking soda while continuing to mix. Then add the yogurt and vegetable oil and continue mixing.
- Grease the pan with butter or tahini, then pour the cake batter into the pan and bake it in the preheated oven.
- Bake the cake at 180°C for 45 minutes or until cooked and risen, depending on your oven.Timers: 45 min
- Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Heat the cream over low heat until it is hot, remove it from the heat, add the chocolate, and whisk the mixture well until smooth.
- When the cake is baked, wait until it cools well. Cut off the top of the cake and scoop out a little of the cake crumb to make room for the chocolate and strawberry filling.
- Place a first layer of chocolate inside the hollowed cake, on top of it a layer of washed and sliced strawberries as desired, then a second layer of chocolate.
- Replace the removed top on the cake as a lid. You can pour chocolate sauce and nuts over the cake to decorate it, or fully decorate it with chocolate cream as desired.
