Apple and Cinnamon Cake — an easy, reliable homemade recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar (or up to 2 cups, to taste)
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 large apples
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. First, peel the apples and cut them into thin small pieces, mix them with the cinnamon, brown sugar and walnuts, and set aside.
  2. Start preparing the batter: whisk the eggs with the sugar; when the sugar dissolves add the oil and whisk, then add the milk and whisk.
  3. Finally add the sifted flour, vanilla and baking powder and beat well for ten minutes with an electric mixer.
  4. Prepare a cake pan or any medium-sized pan and grease it with tahini.
  5. Pour the cake batter then distribute the reserved apple mixture evenly on top.
  6. Place the pan in the preheated oven on the middle rack at 180°C for 45 minutes or according to oven strength.

  7. Serve the apple and cinnamon cake after it cools to room temperature.
