Apple and Cinnamon Cake — an easy, reliable homemade recipe

4 eggs

3 cups sifted all-purpose flour

1 cup milk

1 cup vegetable oil

1 1/2 cups sugar (or up to 2 cups, to taste)

3 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon vanilla

4 large apples

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts

First, peel the apples and cut them into thin small pieces. Mix them with the cinnamon, brown sugar and walnuts, then set aside.
Start preparing the cake batter: beat the eggs with the sugar. When the sugar has dissolved, add the oil and beat, then add the milk and beat.
Finally add the sifted flour, vanilla and baking powder, and beat well for ten minutes with an electric mixer.
Prepare a cake pan or any medium baking dish and grease it with tahini.
Pour the cake batter into the pan, then evenly spread the apple mixture you set aside over the top.
Place the pan in a preheated oven on the middle rack at 180°C (350°F) for 45 minutes, or adjust according to your oven.
Serve the apple and cinnamon cake after it cools to room temperature.
