Dried Fruit Cake
Dried Fruit Cake is one of the easiest and most delicious homemade cakes, perfect with a cup of tea or coffee. Try it and enjoy!
Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups sifted flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 185 grams butter
- 1/2 cup fine powdered sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup dried fruits, depending on what we have available: raisins / dried apricots / dried cherries / dried cranberries / sugar-coated dried pineapple ..
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Begin by creaming the softened butter with an electric mixer, then add the fine powdered sugar.
- Add the eggs in stages, one egg at a time, beating continuously.
- Add the dried fruit, chopped into small pieces, in stages, and at the same time add the sifted flour and the liquid milk in several batches, mixing continuously with a spatula.
- Grease a cake pan with a little butter or tahini, then pour in the dried fruit cake batter.
- Bake the dried fruit cake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your oven's strength and type, until the cake is completely done.Timers: 45 min
- Allow the cake to cool completely before removing it from the pan and transferring it to a serving plate, then decorate as desired.
