Crispy Chicken
Crispy chicken — an easy marinade for tender, crunchy chicken. A very quick meal if the chicken has been marinated in advance. Kids will love it.

Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- Boneless chicken breast
- Flour
- Black pepper
- White pepper or mixed spice
- Ground ginger
- Garlic powder
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- Paprika (sweet red pepper powder)
- Water
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Cut the chicken breast lengthwise, keeping the slices slightly thick.
- Wash the chicken with salt and vinegar, then with water, and let it drain in a bowl. Put the flour with the crushed garlic and spice mix, add a little water, and mix to obtain a slightly thick batter, similar to cake batter.
- Soak the chicken in this mixture and leave it in the refrigerator for some time... at least one hour.
- When frying, prepare a bowl and put in it the same components of the chicken marinade—i.e., the flour with the spices but without the water.
- Dip the chicken pieces, when removed from the marinade, into the dry flour and spices... then fry them in plenty of hot oil until they brown and are cooked.
- Serve the crispy chicken with french fries and coleslaw or another green salad as desired.
