Turkish Kebabs
Turkish kebab is widely known, but everyone makes it in their own way. Here’s a version by the Sho tabkhin Today team.
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 1 large eggplant
- 1/2 kg long eggplant
- green pepper
- hot green pepper
- onion
- tomato
- seasoned minced meat with salt and black pepper...
- meat slices
- pomegranate molasses
- cinnamon - seven-spice - salt
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Season the meat with salt and black pepper and shape it lengthwise, adding slices of meat; cut the large eggplant as shown in the photo and place portions of the minced meat between each eggplant slice.
- Place the remaining meat as separators between the eggplant rounds along the sides of the baking pan.
- Scatter the meat slices over the eggplant and add tomato rounds, peppers and hot green chili to taste.
- In a cup, combine a little water with cinnamon, seven-spice mix and pomegranate molasses; mix the spices with the water and pour over the eggplant, meat and vegetables.
- Put the pan in the oven for half an hour
