  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 cup cooked corn
  • 1 cup green peas, fresh or frozen
  • Minced meat
  • Fried nuts, as desired

Method

  1. Cook the rice in the traditional way with seven-spice, curry, black pepper, and salt. When you reduce the heat so the rice can cook gently, start preparing the vegetables... Cut the carrots into small pieces and fry them in oil until softened, then add the corn and peas with a little black pepper and salt.
  2. Fry the minced meat in oil and add seven-spice, black pepper, and salt. When the meat changes color, add the vegetables and press them down with a spoon, then add the rice and press it down with a spoon. Lower the heat and leave the pot for about 20 minutes over low heat until the rice is cooked.

  3. Invert the pot onto a serving plate and let it sit for about 2 minutes before lifting it. Garnish the rice with nuts, or as desired..
