Jell-O Mold with Cream...a delicious and refreshing recipe with few ingredients

Ingredients

Start here, then move straight into the method.

  • 4 packets Jell-O / gelatin, any flavor
  • Water (for each packet of Jell-O, 1 cup boiling water)
  • 2 cups liquid cream (or) 3/4 cup powdered cream with 1 cup very cold liquid milk
  • Sugar, to taste
  • Also from Rana, here is Chocolate Ice Cream with Biscuits

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Dissolve two packs of Jell-O with 2 cups of boiling water (each pack with 1 cup of boiling water).
  2. Lightly oil the mold and pour the Jell-O into it, then place it in the freezer until it sets.
  3. In a bowl, dissolve two packs of Jell-O with 2 cups of boiling water and set it aside to cool slightly.
  4. Meanwhile, whip the cream with the sugar until it thickens.
  5. Then add the dissolved Jell-O, which you left to cool a little at room temperature, to the cream and whip them together until well combined.
  6. Pour this mixture over the hardened Jell-O layer in the mold.
  7. Cover the mold and leave it in the refrigerator for no less than 4 hours or until the mold is well set.
    Timers: 240 min
  8. To serve, put a bowl of boiling water and place the mold in it for just ten seconds, then invert the mold onto a serving plate.
