Kibbeh in Yogurt (Lebanese Style)
A wonderful Lebanese-style Kibbeh in yogurt. Goat yogurt is used in this Kibbeh in yogurt recipe; if you use cow’s milk yogurt, you should add starch and keep stirring to prevent curdling.
Ingredients

- 2 kg yogurt, preferably goat yogurt
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup Egyptian rice
- Salt
- Garlic
- Dried mint
- Pine nuts, as desired
- Grilled kibbeh *
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Mix the yogurt with the water and the washed, drained rice...
- Bring the mixture to high heat... when the yogurt boils, reduce the heat and add crushed garlic (quantity to taste), and also add a pinch of salt...
- Bake the kibbeh in the oven for about 10 minutes...Timers: 10 min
- Add the grilled kibbeh to the yogurt mixture and reduce the heat until the dish is cooked and the sauce thickens. Pour the kibbeh in yogurt into serving dishes and garnish with fried pine nuts and dried mint.
- If using cow's milk yogurt for this kibbeh in yogurt recipe, add 2 tablespoons of starch and continue stirring so the mixture does not clump or separate...
