Potato Flatbread
A very easy potato flatbread made with mashed potatoes and flour. Serve hot with butter for breakfast or with cheeses and dairy as a bread alternative.

Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 4 medium potatoes
- Salt to taste
- 4 cups flour (or more as needed)
- Butter for serving

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Boil the potatoes, then peel and mash them well using a potato masher.
- When the potatoes cool, sprinkle a little salt and mix, then begin adding the flour in batches until you obtain a cohesive, easy-to-handle dough.
- Dust the dough lightly with flour because it will remain sticky due to the potatoes, then sprinkle a little flour on a clean marble surface, place the dough and begin dividing it into medium, equal-sized balls.
- Flatten or roll each dough ball into circles, and remember to dust beneath each one with a little flour so they do not stick.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the dough, one at a time, browning both sides.
- Remove them from the skillet, brush with butter while hot, and serve.
